Pons Varolii

Pons Varolĭi (lat.), Varolsbrücke, Hirnknoten, großer, zwischen den Hemisphären des Kleinhirns auf dem Hinterhauptbein aufliegender Nervenknoten, durch den Nervenfasern von einer Hemisphäre des Kleinhirns zur andern und vom Großhirn zum Rückenmark verlaufen [Tafel: Nervensystem I, 2; II, 1, 2].
